My Punishment Is Greater Than I Can Bear

Within the story of Cain and Abel, there are Biblical lessons that we can learn which Parallel the teachings of Jesus Christ. Recently, I did a lengthy post on what we can extract from this story from the Old Testament. I added substantially more to it and turned it into a much longer FREE eBook. You can download it in PDF directly below.

Am I My Brother’s Keeper?

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. – 1 Peter 4:10.

My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place. All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers. Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks. For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain. – Jeremiah 50:6-9.

“Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare. When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly. The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah. I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them. But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.” – Psalm 75:1-9.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. – Romans 8:18-23

The End Is Come – Revelations Unbound: Escape The Matrix

How To Escape The Matrix: The LORD God is merciful to those who have a clean heart. God is the strength of my heart, though my flesh and my heart fail me. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. “O God, why hast thou cast us off for ever? Why doth thine anger smoke against the sheep of thy pasture? Remember thy congregation, which thou hast purchased of old; the rod of thine inheritance, which thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein thou hast dwelt. Lift up thy feet unto the perpetual desolationseven all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary. Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.” – Psalm 74:1-4.

A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees. But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers. They have cast fire into thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of thy name to the ground. They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land. We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long. O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme thy name for ever?” – Psalm 74:5-10.

The End Is Come – FREE eBook

Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come. An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

“Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom. For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth. Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness. Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: thou driedst up mighty rivers. The day is thine, the night also is thine: thou hast prepared the light and the sun. Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: thou hast made summer and winter.  Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed thy name. O deliver not the soul of thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of thy poor for ever. Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty. O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise thy name. Arise, O God, plead thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth thee daily. Forget not the voice of thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against thee increaseth continually.” – Psalm 74:11-23.

Father, For Thy Names Sake, O’ Lord – In You I Put My Trust | How To Escape The Matrix

“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.” – 2 Corinthians 11:2-4.

The Parable Of The Poor Widow – The Revelation Free eBook

In the Gospel of Mark, we learn about the Parable of the Poor Widow. How are we to fully understand the lesson that Jesus was teaching within the Gospel? In the previous verses, Jesus denounces the self-righteous scribes who seek after the best seats in the synagogue and places of honor at banquets, which devour widows houses. Meaning, they take advantage of the most vulnerable in their society. Is that different than any church that is out there? Honestly ponder the question while we consider the words of Paul Acts 20, “I have coveted no man’s silver, or gold, or apparel. Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.” That pretty much debunks the myths surrounding the “body” of Christ and what the true temple is. It also throws a wrench into all teachers, pastors, ministers, and Christian “authorities” that gain off of their Gospel knowledge.

As we learn within the Parables of Jesus, He is teaching us many valuable lessons. The Parable of the Poor Widow is no different. He even tells us one of the requirements as followers of His. And, it is a pretty big one. We learn from the Messiah in Matthew, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Did you know that this is a part of the lesson within the Parable of the Poor Widow?

Let us now dive into the deeper meaning behind the Parable and see precisely what Jesus Christ was teaching His disciples.

We learn of the story of the ten virgins. Five of them were wise and five were foolish. First, we understand the importance that they are all virgins. So they must be aware of what the Bible teaches on this subject. Second, we learn that the wise virgins have their lamps filled with oil. How does one who knows the LORD, always make sure that their own lamps are full? Jesus tells us this, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” An oil lamp is always meant to be lit to give light to the house and those that are around it. We are told by the Messiah once again, in another way, the same thing. We are also told this by Him elsewhere, “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Knowing the truth isn’t enough. Walking it out in faith to the very end is what is required of all of us. “Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.” – Philippians 3:12-16.

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” – Matthew 6:24-25.

As I Have Called You, Feed My Sheep

A Lift Up A Banner exclusive free Christian eBook is now available for download in PDF, As I Have Called You, Feed My Sheep. After many months of walking this out in faith, the free Christian eBook ties many things on this subject together in one place for easy viewing without the need for breaking things down. As followers of Jesus Christ, we all have a commandment. We are to love our neighbors as ourselves. The Bible tells us, “Ye shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.” – Deuteronomy 13:4 We are also told this is 1 Peter 2:9-10, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.”

“But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” – Matthew 9:36-38. “And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.” – 1 Peter 4:8. “And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul.” – Deuteronomy 10:12.

Faith without works is dead. “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.”

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”

After taking the time to consider this free Christian eBook, also consider reading about another Gospel principle, Biblical chastity. Throughout both the New Testament and the Old, we are led to understand the fulness of what this saying of Paul means, “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honor; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God.”

Biblical Chastity: Jesus, Abstinence, And The Bible

“Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them. And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.” – Isaiah 34:16-17.

The Bible Unveiled – Who Are We? Where Do We Come From?

Understand one of life’s biggest questions and how profound it truly is. Jesus taught us the Truth to this world, and the answers to everything are located within His Words.

Are You Following The Commandments of Jesus Christ?

Here, we will begin to understand what Jesus meant when He said, I am the Way. This is one of the mysteries that surrounds full repentance, and after you have fully grasped who we truly are.

About My Father’s Business

As we draw near to the Lord, He has drawn near to us. After we have understood certain Gospel Principles, we are given a very specific task: “Feed my sheep,” and “Preach the Gospel to every creature.” Have you answered that call?

My personal testimony testifies to truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May we all discover together, those things in which we seek. May you always be blessed in your understanding, and in the simplicity of the Good News. Are we overcomplicating things? I know that I was. I would read the Bible and begin trying to use my own beliefs and understanding to try to figure out and interpret what the Word was saying. I realized that I was looking at it in the wrong way. The Bible is the Truth. It is literal as well as Supernatural. If we only become as a child and let the Spirit teach us, instead of saying, “Well, I think it says this, or I believe it says that,” we will most likely find that pearl of great price.
