Who Are We and Where Do We Come From?

The answers to all of the questions that we seek are located in the Bible, the very Word of Life. The Scriptures say, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. May the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ find you abundantly in all things brethren. As we look at the words of the Prophets, the Apostles, the Book of Jude and even the words of Jesus Christ, we begin to understand that all of them were teaching the same things.

In Isaiah 61:1 it says, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.” Jesus reaffirms this message by fulfilling it in Luke 4:18 when He says, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” So we must logically begin asking ourselves, “what exactly does this mean? Who are the captives? Who are the prisoners? Who are the blind? Who are needing to be set free? As we look at the time of the Messiah, the Israelites were expecting that the Savior would come and free them all from the Roman occupation. So they had to have been aware of Isaiah 61 and other similar verses throughout the Old Testament. Yet, when the Christ came, He didn’t free them from the earthly leaders of this world. So, once again, who possibly could the prisoners and the captives be? Let’s now go deeper throughout the KJV Bible and compare numerous teachings so that we can fully grasp the depth of these words. It is time to make a choice. Are you going to take the red pill? Or will you take the blue pill and stay asleep, living your life with the questions that you truly seek, left unanswered?

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. So then death worketh in us, but life in you.” – 2 Cor 4:6-12

The evidence is nearly without measure once you know this Truth and begin further seeking it out in the Bible. As we become aware that we truly are angels and you admit to the Father just as the Prodigal Son who took his eternal life, came to the earth and wasted his eternal life on riotous living and prostitutes, you then tell the LORD God, “Father, I am sorry, forgive me, I just want to come back Home, please forgive me.” Jesus reaffirms this parable when He says, “He that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” So you make the decision to turn back to the LORD, back to the very beginning, when we all were in Heaven, before we chose Lucifer or the Devil as our father. “Ye are of your father the devil and the lusts of your father ye will do, and because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.” You may soon begin to make sense of certain things. Why would a loving God allow some people to be born in extreme poverty, while others are on the opposite end of the spectrum? Why would a loving Creator allow all of these bad things to happen to us? Is it starting to make sense now, why we all are going to be judged? “And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.” It makes a lot more sense that we all screwed up, came here, and the LORD God came to save us all from ourselves. All that is required on our behalf is belief, understanding, repentance, and becoming as a child.

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” – Psalm 51. Above are two verses in Isaiah 30 where he speaks upon pronouncing utterly unclean our flesh and casting it away from us. Just as the Prodigal Son, just as Jesus said to forsake it all, just as the above quoted verse. We can look elsewhere and understand this, “When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.”

Welcome to the Matrix… Once again, same theme, and the exact same message. You come to your senses, you literally wake up from your sleep, “Arise O’ sleeper wake up from the dead,” realize exactly what you have done, turn back to the Father, tell Him you are sorry, let go of everything in this world, letting go of your flesh, forsaking it all, and begin your journey with the Spirit in teaching you personally the Word of Life. Even this makes more sense now, “ If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” See, your family and friends aren’t TRULY what they appear to be. Just as Jesus said, “Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!  For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

We aren’t from here, we don’t belong here. We are all strangers and pilgrims on the earth. We all reside in a foreign country, also known as the earth. “And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.” – Hebrews 11:15

I pray that this message of these Gospel Truth’s were well received and understood by you all. As we grow in His Spirit, by filling ourselves with more of His Word, it becomes easier to let go of the things in this world. And with understanding comes the burden as well, “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away? For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.” May the everlasting Gospel of Peace, the Beginning and the End, the very Word of Life bless you immeasurably in all that you do. Find peace and trust in the Lord God, the Self Existent Eternal Jehovah, even Jesus Christ.

What Christian Ministry Are You Donating To And Why? It Is Better To Give Than To Receive.

Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. – Acts 20:33-35. I find it truly remarkable that Paul wasn’t just an Apostle. He made it abundantly clear that he also worked full time for a living. As we know that he was a maker of “tents” for the Lord God, we also learn in Acts 18:3 that he was a tentmaker by occupation.

How many Churches, Pastors, and Ministers operate off of donations claiming that they are doing the work of the Lord God? Why don’t we look at the Bible’s actual take on this matter and resolve the issue once and for all. As we plunge deep into the Word of Truth with the KJV Bible and word meanings, we will solidify what we as a body and as a whole should know and understand. May this understanding resonate within you, and may the Spirit give you clarity pertaining to those in whom you put your faith and trust in.

Jesus told us in Matthew 6, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” We also know in Romans that Paul says, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” We live in a world today where nearly all those “claiming” to be preaching the Gospel are driving fancy cars, living in luxury homes, paying for their kids college tuition, going on vacations, going sky-diving, selling gold or precious metals, and the list goes on and on. At the time of the Apostles, Peter tells us this, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” The very few that were originally sent out by the Savior were only provided for their needs. Not their wants, not for covetousness or for their lusts. They didn’t have fancy iPhone’s, they weren’t browsing Amazon shopping, planning big banquets or social get togethers. They were preaching the Word of God.

Those who were preaching the Bible were ready to die for their beliefs. They weren’t hiding behind TV screens, YouTube Channels, etc., having security guards present, or refusing to go out in public to share the Good News. They were stoned, mocked, spit on, flogged, beaten, slapped, crucified… They weren’t telling you that it is OK to defend yourselves. Jesus didn’t, the Apostles didn’t, the early church didn’t. They fully believed what they were being taught by the Spirit and trusted God more then they feared man. Why do we all today put our trust and faith in people who line up with our beliefs, have certain preaching styles, or look a certain way. Personally, I am disabled. Pertaining to the flesh, I had to lose everything to find the 100% Truth which is Jesus Christ. And that is exactly what is required. “He that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Those who are truly coming in the name of the Lord, bring the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of Life, and give freely as it has been given to them.

May this website, the videos, and the Scriptures help you in your path of finding the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as I did. Continue seeking the Lord in all that you do, for he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Who Are The 144,000 In Revelation? Are You A Wise… VIRGIN?

Again, who are the 144,000? Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. – Matthew 25:1-4

“Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.” – Joel 1:8. “For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” – 2 Cor 11:2. There is an overall theme within the Bible as we begin looking at the word’s of Jesus Christ and as we consider the word abstinence. We are told by the LORD, “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.” – Matthew 10:38. Below is the verse in the KJV Bible with the original Greek highlighted and expanded upon.

As we look further at the meanings, we begin to see that He is speaking about self denial and being in the same way with the Lord. As well as accompanying Jesus as His disciple. Follow along through a journey of Revelation 14, and additional supporting Scriptures that we can cross reference to help us in our understanding. As you watch ask yourself one more time, who are the 144,000 in Revelation?

I will be leaving you today with only one thing to further ponder. Are you, as a bride adorned to her Husband, prepared for the soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? May you be blessed in your understanding, and may your eyes and ears be continually opened up to receive the Living Word of Truth.

Are You Following The Commandments Of Jesus Christ?

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, that ye also love one another. – John 13:34. We are told in the Bible to walk as Jesus walked and to follow Him, as in Revelation 14 which says, These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. – As many of us are waiting for the return of the Messiah, there are certain principals, teachings, and commandments that we must be following in order for us to avoid the coming wrath of GOD.

As we grow in our understanding and learn about who we are, where we come from, and why we are here, we also learn about the Words of Jesus Christ and the New Covenant which He has given us. We all must consider what the Messiah is saying and teaching, and do the same. In Luke 9:23 it says, “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Below is the KJV Bible with the Strong’s Concordance which expands on the original languages so we can gain a deeper understanding of what the words mean.

We are told by Jesus in the Book of Luke that we all should be disowning ourselves by abstinence, through self-denial, and going down the same road as Him. We should be accompanying Jesus as His disciple, and to be in the same Way with Him. The Savior told us that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no man comes to the Father but by Him. Basically, He is saying that we learn the Truth about this world, who we are, what we did, and what we all must do to go back Home. We learn the Way, which is how we are to carry ourselves through obedience to His principals and teachings. We as well learn, what Life truly is. We are told by the Messiah that we live by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God and not by bread alone.

If we are putting all of our faith in one verse here and there without looking further through the Chapters and comparing these verses with other Scriptures, we are only receiving bread. We must understand the full context and meanings of what we are being taught. Most teachers are teaching in err. Most leaders, churches, pastors, ministers, etc., are not teaching the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Word that became Flesh said, “He that forsaketh not all that he hath, cannot be my disciple.” The following video is a Bible Study on the beginning of 1 John chapter 3. It takes the understanding shared above, expands on it in detail, and compares Spiritual with Spiritual. After watching, reading, and listening, I will present additional Scriptures that reaffirm these teachings elsewhere in the Bible.

I pray that after viewing and absorbing the Living Word, certain connections are beginning to be made for you. As doubts, concerns, and potentially anger begin to creep in, remember that the LORD God is the Author of Peace. As we learn in the Bible, the flesh wars against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh. Let go, become as a child, and be willing to learn and relearn what you thought you understood. In Revelation 21 we are told this, “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.” Brides waiting for their husbands are not having sex. We are told of the parable of the Wise Virgins. That is it exactly. They are virgins. We are told in Matthew 19:12, “There be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.” Once again, abstinence, complete abstinence. The entire Bible is filled endlessly with this message. All that is required is your belief in what is being said, and the execution thereof. Yes, this is very specific and is pertaining to believer’s of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The whole world dictates that sex outside of marriage is bad and a sin. We are taught through the Gospels and by the teachers in the New Testament that the Law was fulfilled in Christ and that we should now be living our lives even better. Be ye Holy in all manner of behavior. As we love the brethren as ourselves, how is having sex with your spouse loving them as Jesus did?

Previous posts and videos on the YouTube Channel have gone over in detail the misunderstandings in 1 Corinthians 7. As well as other Scriptures which cannot be interpreted without looking deeper into their meanings and comparing them to other verses. Jesus tells us numerous times to deny ourselves and take up our Cross. Certain parables bare this out, as well as certain miracles themselves. For example, being told to rise up and walk. Or rise, take up thy bed, and walk. May you all continue to be blessed by the Self Existent Eternal Jehovah, even Jesus Christ throughout all of your endeavors. Finally brothers and sisters, love one another as Jesus has loved us. We are all the same. None is better or higher then the other, and we all fall short. And the wizards and false prophets teaching you know this, “But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same Anointing teacheth you of all things, and is Truth, and is no lie, and even as It hath taught you, ye shall abide in Him.” – 1 John 2:27. Stay blessed my Holy ones.

Walk As Jesus Walked – Forsake It All

Jesus Christ says very plainly, Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not ALL that he hath, he cannot be my disciple. – Luke 14:33. He doesn’t allow a clause in there for the word but. The Bible Also states in Isaiah 33, Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil.

The Bible is telling us, see no evil, speak no evil, and hear no evil. What does that mean though? Jesus tells us this, “If any man will come after Me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.” He also said unto his disciples, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” We are told in the Word of Life to walk as Christ walked while He was here on earth. We are told by Peter, Paul, and John in different ways that we are to abstain from fleshly lusts. In essence, this is the definition of the above picture, as well as what is required for our own sanctification of the Spirit. “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.” We as Christians, as we learn more about who we are, where we come from, and what we all did to get here, should come to the point that we let go of all things pertaining to the flesh. And more specifically, we, even so married, should be abstaining from sex. Do you believe the Bible is the Word of God? Then how can we argue with the very words of the Messiah? “He that forsaketh not ALL that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” As well as being told to abstain, walk as He walked, and to deny ourselves? Where are we able to justify still living and walking by the flesh?

In 1 Corinthians 7, looking at the entire chapter as a whole, Paul says this after mentioning sex with your wives, ‘But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment. For I would that all men were even as I myself.” As well as, “I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress.” He says also, “But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none.” Paul is even telling us that eventually you should be abstaining from sex with your wives. Finally he says, “And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.”

In this Bible Study, we will be looking at some of the above Scriptures using the KJV Bible and the Strong’s Concordance with the additional Greek and Hebrew translations. Take your time, pause it, read the translations, and take it to the Father.

As we are given the parallels numerous times throughout the Bible, forsaking it all is one simple thing… Don’t Look Back… May you all be blessed with the True Words of the Self Existent Eternal Jehovah, even Jesus Christ.

The Baptism Of The Holy Ghost From The Washing Of Water By The Word

Christ loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. – Ephesians 5:25-27. That my brothers and sisters is the Baptism of the Holy Ghost.

John the Baptist came preaching repentance for the remission of sins. “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.” As we see in Acts chapter 2, Peter tells us, “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” So what specifically is baptism? Is it going to your nearby river, lake, or ocean and dunking yourself in water? Not exactly. The Bible tells us that we are cleansed by the very Word of God. It is only after we learn the Truth which sets us free. Learning that we are strangers and pilgrims on the earth and what that actually means. As well as when Jesus said, “ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.” We are all angels that fell from Heaven and chose Lucifer over the Lord God. The Bible confirms it in numerous places. See you’re living in the Matrix on the Homepage and who is the god of this world, located in the menu of this website. We also learn about what we did to the Lord God by coming here in the Bible, such as Isaiah 53:5-8. Pervious posts have touched on it although I will be posting something soon on the complete understanding of those verses.

Understanding the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, we also are aware of what the Messiah confirms from the Old Testament in Luke 4:18. “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,” Who are the captives? Who are the prisoners? Ask yourself those questions. We are.

Once we come to understanding and repent, telling our Father in Heaven that we are sorry, just as the parable of the prodigal son, we decide within ourselves that all we want is to go back Home. The Bible says, “Against thee, and thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.” Full repentance is described by the Savior in Luke 14:33. “He that forsaketh not all that he hath cannot by My disciple.” In the last post, I covered who we are, where we came from, and portions of the path back to the Father. I used only the KJV Bible as the source, cross referencing the original Hebrew and Greek, and used visual manifestations that demonstrated these facts. Now I will use additional Scriptures and verses that fully testify to these truths.

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. To put it simply He is saying, you must no longer be serving the flesh, no more sex, complete abstinence, that is the way. The truth is who we are, where we come from, and what we did to the Father. The life, Jesus puts as this, “man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” We must be in His Word and forsake all. Read all 4 Gospels and pay close attention to Jesus’ words and what is written before and after. Most times, the miracles are the same thing, or a continuation on what He said. Such as, “rise, take up thy bed and walk.” We can parallel it to waking from our sleep, leaving our beds (sex), and walking as He did. We are to deny ourselves pleasures, take His cross through obedience of self denial, and follow Him. We are to walk as He walked. To follow in His example. By doing so, you will have eternal life. We need to specifically be the prodigal son’s who took our eternal life, came to the earth, wasted it on riotous living and prostitutes’, waking up from our deep sleep, coming to ourselves, and telling the Father “I am sorry, I just want to come back Home. Nothing in this world matters to me as much as You matter to me, please forgive me.” And He will.

It is the very moment of full belief and clarity as a child that the Baptism of the Holy Ghost will come. Children in general, have full belief in their parents at an early age. No matter what they are told, the child believes their parents. They also know nothing about sex. “Except ye be converted and become as little children, ye shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.” They are oblivious to it. Just as Adam and Eve before they partook of the forbidden fruit, which was sex, because they now knew that they were naked. There is even more to that one. Some other time. For now, read the previous blog posts, watch the videos, and seek the very Face of the LORD God by dwelling in His Word, the Bible.

The Early Church Knew That We Are Strangers And Pilgrims On The Earth

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. – 2 Corinthians 5:1-3

There are many instances within the Bible where Jesus Christ and others make it clear about who we are and where we come from. Jesus Says in John 10:34, “Is it not written in your Law, I said ye are gods. Let’s take what the Messiah was quoting and find it’s source. In Psalm 82 the Psalmist Asaph, whose name means a collector and one who gathers writes, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.  I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.” Let’s take a look using e-Sword and the Strong’s Concordance to break it down a little further.

The original Hebrew says that the word used for God is Elohim. The word means gods in the ordinary sense, of the supreme God, and angels. The next highlighted word is naphal which means to fall, to be cast down, to be judged. So the verses translate back to English as, “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.  I have said, Ye are angels, gods in the ordinary sense, of the Supreme God; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall, to be cast down, to fall away, to fall down, to be judged, like one of the princes.” So in laymen’s terms with full understanding, Jesus in John 10:34, was telling them all that they were all angels. Why else would you think that the whole world was to about be judged? It makes a little more sense that if we are all fallen angels and the Bible says, “know ye not that ye shall judge angels,” that things slowly begin to make sense. It just wasn’t received by them, except for those who were his disciples.

Let’s now take a look at the words of Paul in Hebrews 11 where he says, “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.” We can also look at a portion in Greek and see what the word country translates to.

Paul is saying, “And truly, if they had been mindful of that Heavenly Home from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.” The word country or patris means a Heavenly Home, a Fatherland. We will now expand on it with the words of Peter, some additional books from Paul, and can also look deeper at the meaning of strangers and pilgrims. As you watch the video and follow along, you will be reading the KJV Bible, along with the narrator. Pay close attention as well to the translations. The video is non-monetized, there are no promotions, no gimmicks, or anything that could be conveyed as dishonest. The video also contains real world manifestations that can be seen when you have the eyes to see and the ears to hear. Sit back, follow along, and I will be back with you soon.

As you have seen, it is apparent in the Bible, the Word of God, that Jesus and the Apostles were telling us that we are angels here on the earth. Yet, we all fell like one of the princes that are all going to now die like men. Jesus tells us, “ye shall know the truth and the Truth shall make you free.” We also know from the Spirit of all Truth that it says, “All we like sheep have gone astray.” Additionally, the Messiah’s mission is stated in Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” So, if you still may be wondering, we don’t belong here, we aren’t from here. If Jesus came to free the captives and to open the prison, and He didn’t free the Jewish people when He was here in the flesh, it should be understood that all of us are captives, that all of us are prisoners. “Ye are of your father the devil and the lusts of your father ye will do… and because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.”

Now, knowing who we are according to the Bible, what else is it that we are being told by Jesus and the writers of the New Testament? Let’s take a look at 1 Peter once again where he says, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.” Take a closer look at the word’s abstain, conversation, and behavior.

Peter is telling us to abstain from fleshly lusts, having our behavior better, more beautiful, valuable or virtuous. Let’s look at what virtuous is the same as:

Peter is telling all of us that we need to be chaste, honest, upright, worthy, spotless, to be a virgin, etc… “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation (BEHAVIOR); Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” We can confirm that we need to be chaste in our behavior by what Paul says, “For this is the will of God, even your SANCTIFICATION, that ye should abstain from fornication: (SEX).” Jesus Christ gave the Apostles the teachings by saying things such as, “if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.” Finally, some final words from the Truth, even the Self Existent Eternal Jehovah: “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not ALL that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.”

The Churches, ministers, pastors, and so called prophets are not sharing the fulness of the Gospel. And if they aren’t teaching you the way, the truth, and the life, all of your efforts, beliefs, and understandings are in vain. My prayer for you all is that the Word of Life will take root in you, that you won’t fall by the wayside, and that this message will not fall upon stony ground. May the Lord God bless you and keep you in seeking Him out in all that you do. “It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the Words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are Life.”

From The Beginning It Was Not So

A Guest Blog by Jamie Black

Sharing my thoughts, they have helped me and hopefully can help you too. All glory to the LORD. Lift Up a Banner points out many verses in Scripture about sex and breaks the words/meanings down by using e-Sword, the dictionary, and the thesaurus. Sometimes we think we know what a certain word or name means but really don’t know. Written in Scripture are the answers you seek and they can be confirmed time & time again in different books contained within the KJV Bible. Also the Apocrypha Books that were removed in the year 1828. I see brothers & sisters, most cannot accept the teachings of Jesus. For them it is just too overwhelming and difficult to understand. This is certainly true in many instances.

The biggest subject challenging many of us is a little three letter word: Sex. In the Bible the word used most is fornication (G4202) porneia (looks like the word porn). Remember, not just the act of doing so, but also the thought of doing so is a sin. Below here is a brief part of Scripture from Matthew 19. If you pay close attention and do the seeking out on your own, with the Lord, it will become clear. Very clear to those who are ABLE to RECEIVE (G5562) this SAYING (G3056), The Divine Expression that is ChristIT IS GIVEN (G1325). – Matthew 19:11.

“They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away? He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the BEGINNING it was not so. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery. His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry. But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given. For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.” Matthew 19:7-12

Although this mentions divorce, this is not what I will be going into detail about.
First, let’s start with where it says, “it is not good to marry.” That’s correct. You just saw after learning what Jesus told them, they realized, “better not get married.” This goes against all society, no more weddings $$$$. Now, what if your wife or husband doesn’t understand, but you have received what is GIVEN (G1325), that in which Jesus speaks about? Look at the breakdown, see the word SUFFER?

Going back it says, Whosoever shall put away (divorce) his wife… except it be for fornication. This is probably the most difficult thing when you understand and know the Truth. The only comfort that we can find is what Jesus says to his disciples in Matthew 19:12. “And there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.”

“And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

A Pillar Of Salt: Remember Lot’s Wife?

Did you know Lot’s wife was turned into a pillar of salt for looking back? Do you feel that the LORD is leading you and taking you by the hand, urging you to flee Babylon? Do you understand what it means to give up all you have? Consider these words of Paul. “I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”

We are probably all familiar with the story of Lot and his wife. As previously stated, she was turned into a pillar of salt. It is evident that she was still holding on to things in the world, unable to let go fully. Her actions teach us a valuable lesson. This is also an example of what Jesus teaches. After Lot is taken by the angel of the LORD and led out of the city, he is told, “Escape for thine own life. Look not behind thee, nor stay on the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.” Jesus teaches us that the Kingdom of GOD is within us. Were you aware that, “fleeing to the mountain,” is something that happens spiritually?

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. – 2 Corinthians 6:14-18.

In the Gospels, Jesus teaches, “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” – Luke 14:33. “Remember Lot’s wife?  Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life, shall preserve it.” – Luke 17:33. “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.” – Matthew 16:25. By going through the teachings of Jesus Christ and comparing spiritual with spiritual, we learn what letting go truly means. “Ye shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which ye shall possess.” – Deuteronomy 5:33. As we see in the Law, they were instructed to do certain things and to live a certain way. What I know, is that I don’t want to be turned into a pillar of salt for not fully letting go.

When the Lord came in the flesh, He fulfilled the Law and gave us something better. And, what do we know about John the Baptist? He was preaching the Gospel of repentance to a group of people who understood and kept the Law. They were even stoning people for breaking certain commandments. So when we see John saying, “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make STRAIGHT the WAY of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias,” we then need to begin looking further at the teachings of Christ, and what His Words were in the Gospels. “Jesus said I am the WAY,” and “Enter ye in at the STRAIGHT gate… Because STRAIGHT is the gate, and narrow is the WAY, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Logically we know that the Messiah fulfilled the Law according to Matthew 5:17. What specifically is being said that we all must be missing?

Peter tells us, “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance.” He also says, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.” As well as, “the WAY of truth shall be evil spoken of.”

Paul tells us in Galatians 3, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you… Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Below are three screenshots of the KJV Bible with the Strong’s Concordance referenced. You will see the words crucified, foolish, and flesh highlighted and expanded on so that we can understand specifically what Paul was teaching them at that time.

In essence, Paul is telling us that Jesus Christ was able to subdue His passions and selfishness. Which also equates to lust and the things that we are holding on to in this world. Regardless of whether you are married or not. He goes on to say, “are you so sensual, having begun in the Spirit, are you now made perfect by being a carnally minded human being?” In 1 Thessalonians 4 Paul states, ““For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.” The implication isn’t to abstain from adultery. He is reaffirming once again, what he said in Galatians to the Thessalonian church. The whole world, Christian or non-Christian knows that adultery is bad. “Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another.” – Romans 2:15. The question is, how was he so sure of these things? The answer is by looking further at the Gospels and additional Words of Jesus. He says, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” He also said unto his disciples, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

It is mentioned in the New Testament, “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” We are also told through the parables and the miracles of Jesus things such as this,  “Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy BED, and WALK.” The connections are endless once you understand this, have obtained this knowledge, and fully believed it. At the moment of 100% belief and the execution thereof, it is accounted unto righteousness. Just think of it as Abraham being 100% willing to sacrifice his son. For the Bible, His very Word becomes a part of you, and you have then understood one Principal of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that will help you in finding your path back to the Father, our Lord, our God.

My prayer and my hope in these efforts are to help us all find the things which we seek the most, the very answers to the Truth, and our Way Home. “Jesus saith unto him, I AM the WAY, the Truth (who we are, where we come from, and why we are facing judgement), and the Life (man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God). May you be blessed with spiritual understanding and may the Lord God’s Spirit shine upon you in all things. Stay blessed.

The New Testament (Covenant) – Walk In The Spirit – A Look Into Hebrews

In Matthew 5, Jesus says, Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. Paul tells us in Romans 7, “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.” In the Bible, The Book of Hebrews is one often overlooked because of it’s difficulty in translating and understanding it correctly. Let’s look at the Words of Christ, and the teachings of Paul in Romans and Hebrews so that we may be able to understand the full message of what the Messiah was saying. We will look at the KJV version using the Strong’s Concordance to further expand the original languages.

“For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:” Below are the exact meanings of sanctification and abstain using e-Sword.

As we continue in the next two verses Paul says, “That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of CONCUPISCENCE, even as the Gentiles which know not God:” Let’s look at the definition of CONCUPISCENCE below.

Put simply, Paul is telling us that we ALL need to abstain from sex. Even if we are married. Peter says this in 1 Peter 2, “Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul; Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.” Jesus says this in Matthew, “Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” He as well says this in Luke, “And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” In multiple places throughout the New Testament, we are told to follow Jesus, to walk as He walked. In the Book of John He says this, Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” Are you a friend of the Lord Jesus Christ? Are you crucifying your flesh with it’s lusts passions and desires? It is expedient for our eternal salvation. Go to the Father, seek Him out in all things. The Spirit will testify to the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, if we only become as a little child as He instructed. May you be blessed in Him as we grow together in the Spirit.
