Make Thy Face To Shine Upon Thy Servant

Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the time that the Lord’s house should be built. Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying,  Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your ceiled houses, and this house lie waste? Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways. Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord. Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did blow upon it. Why? saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste, and ye run every man unto his own house. – Haggai 1:1-9.

The Everlasting Gospel

Lost in the infancy of this newly found freedom
Trying to grip the reality I found
Awoke from a sleep that has crippled my soul
Beginning to see what my eyes never told
Searching and seeking for something unknown
Never to find it, I’ve been so alone
Through much despair, grief, and deep sorrow
I’ve encountered my demons and faced them head on…

Throughout my life, I have encountered the same problems that are common to all of us. I have made mistakes. Quite a few actually. Yet, the Lord God in His infinite wisdom and goodness, taught me valuable lessons throughout my life. I wasn’t always one to take the advice of others growing up. I put my hands right to the “burner” and got burned. And a lot of times, it was painful. Finally though, change and growth happened.

We all should take the time to consider our lives, looking at the past, and see how gracious the Lord truly is to us all. “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” – 2 Peter 3:9. Although, the very next verse should be somewhat sobering to us all. “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

What if we were to fall short? Peter explains this portion as well in verse 11. “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness.” Let us look at the root meaning of conversation and godliness. We will also be looking further at another word contained within the definition.

Are we striving for excellence with the command of our vessels? Are we attempting to align our thoughts and behaviors with those of the Messiah? Did you know that there was a Gospel scheme? It is as simple as, “forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.” – Philippians 3:13. Did you know that there was a before? Were you aware that we aren’t from here? Did you know that Jesus even tells us this? Those who know the truth are referred to as strangers and pilgrims on the earth. If you are either, would you be from that place?

Those who gain access to the Spirit are eloquently put in the Bible as such, “And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:” Would you like to know the depth of this meaning? Do you want to leap for joy when you hear the Spirit speak to you? “And his disciples heard it.” Everything is here for you. This entire website and all contained herein is to give you the keys to eternal life, as I have been blessed to receive them.

The Gospel Of Repentance

Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. – Psalm 51:4. This may in fact be the most difficult post that I produce with the Lord by my side. It may even be my last, as I feel the tears currently welling up within my eyes. To know the Lord intimately, I am sure is probably the deepest desire of nearly every man’s heart. Although, to know the Lord, means to experience His pain, and to understand His suffering. Let us now look deeper into what it means to repent in the Bible.

All that the Father bestows upon us is a gift. All honor, glory, and praise belongs to Him alone. As I opened with Psalm 51, I will push forward with a single question. What is this great evil, that we all committed against the Lord? Let us begin, at the beginning. Not the beginning of this world, but the very beginning. Were you aware that there was a difference? The Gospel of John opens with, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.” Prior to the creation of this world there is what we will call the “first estate.” Let us go take a look at the Book of Jude.

“And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities… But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.”

Let us now crack open the KJV Bible and look closely at a few of the words in the original Greek, so that we can gain further understanding on who all of these angels are. Before doing so, why is the Gospel of Jude written in the present tense and not the past? Why does he say, “Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities… But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves?” We will now breakdown the word “chains,” in Jude 1:5. As well as the word “flesh,” in Jude 1:7. Let us look and ponder together.

These angels which fell from Heaven, which left their first estate were placed in, “a band, that is a ligament of the body.” These angels gave themselves over to fornication, as is, “human nature (with its frailties (physically or morally) and passions), specifically to be a human being, and to be carnally minded.” Who is it that is suffering the vengeance of eternal fire? Every last on of us. Please, take a second for a pause. Consider what you are looking at and reading. “Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.” Now, consider the angel in Revelation who gave John the “little book.” For in his mouth, on the surface, the Word of God was sweet. Yet, the moment that he had digested the Word, it became bitter in his belly. That holds true to anyone who has understood the depths of truths and the meaning to repent in the Bible.

We will continue with the Gospel of Jude while considering, “arise o’ sleeper, wake up from the dead,” “to be carnally minded is death,” & “the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, neither can he know them, for they are spiritually discerned.” “Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities… But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves?” The two words that we will look further at are “these,” and “naturally.”

We are told that it is speaking on this man and this woman. Once again in the present tense. It also says that what they now know physically, instinctively, and naturally, they won’t even understand what they are reading or seeing, and will even speak evil of it. “Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.” In John 10 we learn about the moment where the Jews take up stones to cast them as Jesus.

“Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God. Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?” Let us go find where it says that in the Law, or more specifically in the Old Testament. We will be looking at Psalm 82:5-7. “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.” Here we are once again, with it saying that they won’t know and they won’t understand what they are seeing, hearing, or looking at. Psalm 82 says that we are all gods, children of the Most High God, that fell from Heaven that will now die like men. Let’s look at the word “gods” and the word “fall” in the original Hebrew.

The psalmist, while under the influence of the Holy Ghost, was telling us that we are all angels that got cast down, and cast out of Heaven that are all going to die like men, awaiting judgement. “Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.” Now, watch the following video.

I never said that it was going to be easy. Although it is the 100% truth. Since we began at the very beginning, the first estate, and discovered who we all are, and a portion of what we did, let us go back, to the beginning of this world, Genesis 1. Before we do, let us consider, “the anointed cherub that covereth,” Lucifer. “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.” – Ezekiel 28:13-15.

What exactly is he covering with, and who is it that he is covering? The answer is our flesh. Here, set the stage for Genesis 1:26-27. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” We will once again look at the definition for “god.” As well as the definition for image.

In the cumulative sum of Genesis 1, there is no LORD or Lord, in front of the word god. So here we have a whole bunch of angels creating a system separate from the Lord God, making a phantom, that is, figuratively an illusion, resemblance; hence a representative figure, ESPECIALLY AN IDOL: an IMAGE, a vain shew. Does that sound like that is something that the Lord God made? Is any of the definition for image open to any other interpretation? The answer is no. That is because Genesis 2 is the creation of Adam and Eve, separate from the Genesis 1 creation, so that the Lord God could get back the prodigal son’s of His choosing. Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.

“Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.” Let us step forward to Exodus 20 and what the Lord told us all that we should not have done. Before doing so, let us consider Revelation 11:8, “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” “I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.  Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God.” – Exodus 20:2-5. We will be looking at the translation for graven image, as well as the translation for likeness.

The LORD God told us not to make any idols, or any phantom or specifically embodiment species. What is the definition for the image of god in Genesis 1 again? “A phantom, that is, figuratively an illusion, resemblance; hence a representative figure, ESPECIALLY AN IDOL: a vain shew.” As I asked previously, is there any other way this can be translated? Why do we need to be born again? “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do… And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.” In Colossians 3 we are told, “Jesus, who is the image of the invisible God, is the firstborn of every creature.” That is it precisely. Jesus came from a Virgin, impregnated by the Holy Spirit, the first born of the “new” creation, hence being “born” again. How can Jesus be the image of the invisible God, and we be created in His image? Look at the world around you. Do any of us look as if we fit that profile? Let us now watch the following video.

We will continue to build upon this with Psalm 73. “When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image. Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.”

Let us look at the original Hebrew again in a few places. The first word that we will pay attention to, is the word God. It isn’t the same word, it is different. It means “especially the Almighty.” We will also look at “castedst down” and the word image again.

Here we have the psalmist realizing the moment of being roused out of sleep. Terrified, for who he was, and what he had done. Totally frightened and disgusted by it. He was pierced in the very fiber of his being. The bigger question is, will you? The parable of the Prodigal son, isn’t a parable at all. It is the truth. The foolish angels who took their eternal life, coming to a far away land, and wasting it on riotous living and fornication. Will you fully come to the understanding and realization, repent back to the very beginning, by letting go of those things that are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before?

I will add one final short video to this post that should solidify whether we, as true believers in Jesus Christ, have to forsake everything, and become as little children in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

I pray that all of this receives you well. My hope, as I know with a certainty how late the hour is, that if even one of you may find your way Home, all of my time and efforts are worth it. For the sake of my brethren… May the Lord God, the Self Existent Eternal Jehovah, even Jesus Christ come in the Flesh, bless you in all things, and by His infinite mercy and grace. Please go through the Bible Study, the eBooks, and all of the lessons. The Word speaks for Himself. If we only allow ourselves, our pride, and our haughty, prideful spirit, to get out of the way.

The Way Of Truth Shall Be Evil Spoken Of

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. – 2 Peter 2:1-2

I pray that the following videos will lead you in understanding the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as I have been led to understand it. May The Lord’s grace and mercy be upon you, even unto the end.

Please take the time to watch, ponder, and digest all of those things that you saw and heard. What else can we learn about the latter day prophets according to the Bible? Let’s watch the following video and see for ourselves.

Worthy Of The Resurrection?

As one who knows the Lord, have we truly given Him all that is required? Have we counted the cost? Have we pondered all of His sayings? Do we know the way? Do we know the truth? What is the life? A few years ago, quite honestly, I didn’t know any of these things. Until something in my own life drastically changed. At an age, where I still had most of my adulthood ahead of me, I found out that I had a massive brain tumor that was nearly obstructing all of my fourth ventricle. It was devastating. What happened afterwards, was far worse.

Upon waking from the surgery to remove the brain tumor, I had awoke with the room spinning vertically, which still continues in one form or fashion even to this day. I lost the ability to breath without a tracheostomy. I lost the ability to swallow. I lost most of the use of my tongue. The majority of the nerves within my head, and elsewhere feel as if they are on fire. My hands, feet, and portions of my arms and legs are numb. I discovered later on that my vocal chords had become paralyzed, my throat was twisted upon itself, and that I had suffered a stroke and cerebral hemorrhage during the procedure. I have severe light sensitivity. My eyes and nerves have somewhat calmed down since, yet not entirely, and still a very big daily struggle for me. I drool excessively. I use a suction machine to the very depths of my throat. I produce massive amounts of mucus. Sleeping is difficult and sobering. None of these were present prior to the operation. And, this isn’t even everything that I struggle with physically on a daily basis. Thankfully, the Lord allowed one grace upon me with my physical infirmities. I am able to eat once again. The word suffering when doing so doesn’t equate the task itself. And, suffering daily amidst all that I go through, has become my allotment in life. After many months of rehab, I was able to regain the swallow function. It isn’t a pretty sight to watch me eat, given everything else that physically is wrong with me.

Saying all of this isn’t an attempt to cause any of you to feel sorry for me. It is quite opposite. In the Lord’s infinite wisdom and goodness, he has allowed me to obtain something that all of us desire at our innermost being. I had to lose everything to self to find the truth. I had to let go of everything else to find the way and the life. Although, many may not understand these principals, that is the purpose of Lift Up A Banner. To share with all of you what the Lord God has told me to be true. And He didn’t just tell me as if some person was standing next to me speaking in my ear. He told me in the whisperings of His Spirit with His Word. He didn’t just confirm it to me once, or twice. His word confirms it more times, and in more places, than I can realistically count anymore.

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

After I had let go, and began taking the first steps of my walk with the Lord, He led me to a man who was teaching who we are, where we come from, and the painful fact of what we all did to the Lord, which would equate an eternity of punishment. I followed this man for some time, always curiously digging through what he was teaching, and what he was saying. Yet, even from the very first moment, “that I saw men walking as trees,” something didn’t feel right. Something was still missing. The Spirit kept reminding me, “this isn’t the way.” I found a dear friend and a brother along the way, where we could bounce certain scriptures off of each other, so that we could seek it out with the Lord ourselves. Even from the very beginning of us finding each other, we always saw and heard the same things from the Lord.

“Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me… And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.”

After what I would call a defining moment, it was as if, all of this mans teachings, sayings, verses, and videos, began consuming my mind all at once. As if a long played video was just downloaded in a single moment of time. The Lord had impressed upon me in one instance, all of the errs in his teachings, all of the subtleties where he had been misled. Everything that I heard from the Spirit of All Truth from the very moment that I repented and opened my eyes had been true. And this man had been wrong, deceived by pride, arrogance, and his own flesh. John the Baptist went teaching the Gospel of Repentance to a group of Jews who fully believed that they were religiously following the ten commandments. Yet in this man’s ministry, you go right back to living the way that you once were, never moving onto perfection, never bearing any fruits, and never repenting.

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?  Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.”

“Whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” “For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.”

As in John the Baptists mission, that is the first key in being baptized by the Spirit. One of the biggest subjects on this website is abstinence. It is the requirement of being sanctified by the Spirit. It is a large part of us being fully converted. Without it and without fully believing it, you never are converted. How can you become as a child, when you are still having sex? This is something that nearly no one is teaching. I am aware of a very small number who know it, but who is teaching it? We are told by Jesus that once we are converted, we need to strengthen the brethren. We are called to be servants. We are called to be disciples. We are called to find His lost sheep. We are commissioned as his laborers in the vineyard to plant, prune, and water. As we do so, He esteems us as friends and no longer servants. And the Father honors us when doing so. When we follow the Lord and do as He did and walk as He walked, we are purified, we are sanctified, and we are freed.

The following is a short video that builds upon most of the abstinence lessons here, and with others on the YouTube channel, but the first one that comes to mind is, “The Days Of Noah – Have You Counted The Cost?” Watch the video below. It ties perfectly into where I will be going next.

Most of us who read the Bible, know that the world will be the same at the return of the Lord, as it was in the days of Noah. What was your takeaway from that video that you just watched? What did you hear? I didn’t know what it meant until I learned the way, the truth, and the life. Yet now, I understand it perfectly. What it says, is exactly what it means. As is the case with the Bible in nearly every instance. The simplicity that is Christ gets me every time. Always trying to interject or interpret what is being said instead of just reading it for what it says.

At that time, everyone who was living in the world, “eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,” all got destroyed by the flood. That should be a pretty sobering experience for anybody, when you realize that is exactly what’s going to happen. Let’s now build upon that video, the understanding of abstaining from our flesh and sex with our spouse, and add even more of Jesus’ words to the last video. Here is the most recent video on the YouTube Channel, “Are You Accounted Worthy To Obtain That World & The Resurrection From The Dead?” Watch it and consider what you just saw and heard in the previous video.

Within the pages of this website are dozens upon dozens of Scriptures that bear this out. Please, take the time to thumb through all of the lessons. Scroll all the way back to the very first post. There are more lessons on abstinence than there is anything else on this website. Go through the Bible study on the homepage. It begins by laying a foundation in the truth, and builds briefly upon the way and the life. Read the 6 free Christian eBooks. Watch all of the videos. Watch the additional videos that are on the YouTube channel that are not on this website. Your faith will be increased, your eyes will be enlightened, and your ears will hear. If, you only let go, and become as a little child.

As much as I want you all to believe everything that you see and hear, we all individually need to put our own work in with the Lord and with the Spirit. In doing so, you will understand that what I am saying is true. It is by the very word’s of Jesus Christ that the whole Church is built. If we do not know His words, even all of them, we may never find eternal life. If we don’t abide in them, how can we say that we know Him?

Maybe, I am child like for believing that there can be a body of believers at the end of this age, just as there was at the time of Christ. Maybe I am hoping for something that isn’t achievable in this day or time. Or maybe, I know the key of “brotherly love.” “As I have loved you, love one another.”

See Ye Not All These Things?

Verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. “The stone that the builders rejected, has become the head of the corner.” “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.”

Something for us to consider, as our time each day, is that much closer to the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are told in the Bible, “Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.” Why is it that we all need to be born again? Who are the builders? What are the stones? What did the builders reject? Why is Jesus rejected of men? “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” So who is the god of this world, if Jesus is the image of the invisible God? Why did Jesus say that we are of our father the devil? See what angels desire to look into.

A Scripture Reading, Unto The End…

“And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.”

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.  Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”

“Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.”

House On The Rock

How many of us know the words of Jesus Christ? How many of us follow His teachings? How many of us listen to His voice? Let us begin in Luke 6:46, “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”

“Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.” In order for us to understand the Word of God, should we understand the sayings of Jesus Christ? Is there any way to know the Lord or understand the Bible without his teachings?

Jesus tells us in Luke 14, “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” He also tells in in numerous ways, “if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.” Are you leaving it all behind for the Lord? Are you denying yourself through abstinence? Are you attempting to crucify your flesh with your lusts, passions, and desires, on a daily basis? Are you following the Lord and walking as He did? “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” – 1 John 2:6. Are you sharing the truth with others as Jesus did? Are you his disciple?

As we dig deep through the Bible and the words of Jesus in the Gospels, He teaches us that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Have you learned His ways? Are you doing them? Have you learned the bitter truth? “Is it not written in your law, I said ye are gods.” – John 10:34. Are you building your temple as you are forsaking everything else? “Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

Why did Jesus say, “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple?” Why is the New Testament about people forsaking it all and following Jesus, even as the healings, which represent the same thing? “Rise, take up thy bed (abstain, deny), and walk (follow me)?” And immediately, you are made whole.

If the Lord was to come back tomorrow, what would you say to Him? “But he that heareth, and doeth not (my sayings), is like a man that without a foundation built a house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”

As we are told that Jesus is the Life, that life only comes by understanding His sayings, and doing them. Life comes by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. As I have been seeing and hearing more and more about this Canary Island situation, I consider all of those that I know, who are living as if we all will have one more day to do better. We all need to live as if today was our very last day. We all need to live as if the Lord was calling us Home. Because, we truly never know. “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?”

Why is the Book of Jude in the New Testament? What does it matter what happened to the angels roughly 6000 years ago? What does Jesus say on this subject? What did He know, that we are all unaware of?

The Bible Unveiled – Who Are We? Where Do We Come From?

Understand one of life’s biggest questions and how profound it truly is. Jesus taught us the Truth to this world, and the answers to everything are located within His Words.

Crucified At Golgotha

Calvary or Golgotha simply means, “The place of a skull.” Paul was teaching something very specific on the place where Jesus Christ was crucified. Let’s see what it was.

Are You Following The Commandments of Jesus Christ?

Here, we will begin to understand what Jesus meant when He said, I am the Way. This is one of the mysteries that surrounds full repentance, and after you have fully grasped who we truly are.

Jesus, Abstinence, & The Bible

Let us walk as Jesus walked, together. As we grow in Him, we learn to do as He did, and become how He was. He is the same today, yesterday, and forever. We should choose to become like Him through everything.

About My Father’s Business

As we draw near to the Lord, He has drawn near to us. After we have understood certain Gospel Principles, we are given a very specific task: “Feed my sheep,” and “Preach the Gospel to every creature.” Have you answered that call?

May the truthfulness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ reach you all in abundance.

Feed My Sheep

As we grow in our understanding and our knowledge of the way, the truth, and the life, we all have a duty. “Faith without works is dead.” “So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.”

Let me begin with this… When the 12 were chosen by Jesus, did they have any clue what they were doing? Did they fully even understand His teachings? It wasn’t until the Book of Acts, that we see the Messiah come to them. Then, He opened up all things unto them by His Spirit. The Lord takes us wherever we are in our journey of growth and specifically says, “Follow me.” How are we to be the same as the Lord if we don’t live as He did and walk as He walked? In our journey with the Truth, we grow in our own knowledge and understanding, as we are walking with Him. As days turn to weeks, and months into years, we are able to see more of His reflection is us. If… we let go of this world with everything in it. Some things are easier than others. Some take a long time. But in our walk, we all have a mission.

Throughout the New Testament, we see a pattern within the Word itself. An example will be shown to us of what we all should be doing. Words will than be spoken solidifying the example, of what we were just shown. And many times, it will be restated, proved again, and shown another way in the following verses. I will show you below. Let us begin with Luke chapter 5. We will make some additional ties with what the Spirit has shown me. This chapter begins with the calling of Peter, James, and John. And it is a story that most of us are familiar with. Why don’t we take a moment and refresh ourselves with the story.

“And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake. And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken: And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

Now, before we get into the similarities of what Jesus was doing with them, and the words that He chose, let us look at one more comparison from John chapter 6. “And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. And the Passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh. When Jesus then lifted up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat? And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do. Philip answered him, Two hundred pennyworth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may take a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, saith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would. When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.”

We can now extract the similarities, comparisons, and lessons, from both of these teachings. Because, they are telling us the same thing. In Luke chapter 5, we are told that Jesus entered in to one of the ships and taught out of it. Peter launched off into the deep and dropped down his net at the very Word of Jesus Christ. When he had done so, he caught a great many fish. Then he beckoned unto those that were with him to help in catching the fish. Finally, they forsook everything, and followed Him. The two images below are the KJV Bible with the original Greek for reference. See what the words forsook and followed mean.

Jesus showed us the example of what they were doing before He even spoke the words, “Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.” Then the Bible says, “And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.” “He that forsaketh not all that he hath, cannot be my disciple.” In laymen’s terms, Jesus is at the helm of your “ship,” or your temple. When we are first coming to our understanding of the way, the truth, and the life, we start sharing what we know, and get those we know that are, “on board,” to begin doing the same. We forsake everything and follow the Lord wherever He leads us. Be it, social media, friends, acquaintances, online, websites, videos, articles, books, promoting what you have already been shown, sharing info from others who have this information, etc…

Let’s liken Luke 5 to John chapter 6 now. Jesus is up in the mountain with His disciples. You, dwelling in your temple, have been in the Word of Truth with the Spirit. He has been teaching you things, and sharing certain principles and understandings. “He saith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” “There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes.” “Hey, there is this person sharing the Word of God, but it may not seem like a whole lot of information…” Jesus tells them to cause the men to sit down and listen, because there is much pasture to graze on, they just aren’t aware of it. Jesus, as in Luke, gives to the disciples. And then, the disciples give to those who are sitting down, waiting to dine on the Word of the Lord. Jesus finally tells His disciples to gather up the fragments so that no one would be lost.

Are you one who claims to know Jesus Christ? Are you one who can see and one who can hear? The Lord is calling you as His disciple, to walk as He walked, and do as He did. As the prodigal son, forsaking it all, willing to go to his Father just as a hired servant; we are told this, “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” I would rather be least in the kingdom of Heaven than not there at all. Wouldn’t you?

None of us are Jesus Christ, and in this flesh, we never will be. We do the best that we can. We fall, we stumble, we make mistakes. But waiting for some perfect day or some perfect moment to begin sharing the truth will leave you like this at the end. “Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

As a servant of the Lord, we all have a job to do. “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” It is time to let your lights shine before men brethren. It is time to be the salt of the earth. It is time to gather the lost sheep.

We needn’t focus on the events transpiring in the world. We are in the world but not a part of it. Get out there and feed the sheep. Get out there, and feed the lambs, as a disciple of Jesus Christ.

What If We Were Angels?

One question with a Biblical answer, are we angels? What if… Nothing in this world is truly what it seems? What if… The words of Jesus Christ were true? He told us that His mission was to free the captives, restore sight to the blind, to open the doors to the prison, and to wake us up from the dead. What if, we were all captives? What if, we were all blind? What if, we were all in prison? What if, we were all born dead? What if, all of these things were true? If Jesus told us these things, are they not true? Did the Lord ever tell a lie? Did He tells us that we are all of our father the devil? How could these things be true? How could we not see? How could we all not understand?

What if the parable of the prodigal son wasn’t a parable at all, but Jesus was telling us exactly who we are? There are many confusing questions that we have when reading the Bible, yet we make an attempt to reason things out within our minds in order to make sense of it all. The Messiah told us that we need to become as little children. As we begin, that is what I am asking you all to do. Take the eraser to the chalk board of your lives, wipe the slate clean, and forget everything that you have ever thought to be true. Maybe, just maybe, you will wake up from the dead. Maybe, just maybe, you will no longer be blind. Maybe, just maybe, you will be set free. In many previous posts, we have looked at the KJV Bible using the Strong’s concordance, in order to further understand the Word of God. Today. we will take a walk on the surface and see that we don’t always need to do so.

We will begin to build off of what Jesus said, and found our temples from there. We will lay brick by brick, pour the mortar, level the surface, and continue to build. Let us start, with the prodigal son. The story of the prodigal son tells us about a young boy, who wanted to leave his Father and go and do his own thing. He told his Father, give me what is mine, I am going to make a name for myself. Although, this son, even though he may have had the best intentions, we see that the outcome faired not well for him. When he got there, he wasted all that he had on riotous living.

Jesus tells us in John 10:34, “Is it not written in your law, I said ye are gods?” He was quoting Psalm 82. Let’s now look at it, together. “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.” So, are we angels? We will take what Jesus is telling us and liken it to the parable of the Prodigal son. Remember, Jesus said that we are all blind, asleep, and that we need to arise from the dead. So, what is it that they won’t understand? Who are they?

What if, the prodigal son’s, were a third of the host of Heaven, who left their father and chose Lucifer as their father? “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do… and because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.” What if, we just don’t remember it? What if, we all woke up in this world asleep, and truly dead, just as the Messiah told us? What if, our inheritance was our eternal life? What if, the far away land that the prodigal son went to, was the earth?

“And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities… But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.”

Once again, we see that these angels, are filthy dreamers that defile the flesh, They know not, and apparently they don’t understand either.” “Arise O’ sleeper, wake up from the dead, and Christ shall give thee life.” “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” Are you beginning to “see?” Are we angels?

Is there even more in the Bible that speaks on this, or proves this even more so? Yes. And the evidence is overwhelming. Let’s see what Peter says on the matter. “But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption.” Here again, they don’t know, and they don’t understand what they are being told. Let us now watch this video below.

“When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when you awake, you shalt despise your image. Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.” – Psalm 73.

So here we all are. Yet, there is even more. “When we were all fallen to the earth.” “God comforteth those that are cast down. “When men are cast down, then there shall be a lifting up, and he shall save the humble person.” OK. So we are angels. We are all the prodigal son’s. We all took our eternal life, came to the earth, and wasted our eternal life on riotous living. The Bible calls us strangers and pilgrims. We are also called aliens and sojourners. All of these imply that we are not from here. We are all residing in a foreign country.

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”

OK. If the truth isn’t frightening enough, and learning who we all are and where we all come from isn’t enough, we also have even more understanding to gain. “ He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” -Isaiah 53. Here again, we all have gone astray. And that isn’t even the worst part.

Remember, we are angels, prodigal son’s, strangers and pilgrims, aliens and sojourners. We aren’t from here. We don’t belong here. And, once again, at one time, we all were son’s. “The sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” Genesis 1 and Genesis 2 are two entirely separate accounts of creation. Genesis 1 is the God of this world who hath blinded the eyes of them who believe not. Genesis 2 is the Lord God, who formed Adam from the dust of the ground and took Eve out of his side. Interesting that Jesus was pierced in His side while on the cross.

Before we get into that, the foundation is still being laid. After the first set of bricks have been leveled, we begin squaring off the corners for the second layer. In Genesis 1 we are told about the creation of man, and the image of God. For this understanding, we need to go into the original language so that we can see who God truly is and what the image of God means. “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Let’s use the Strong’s Concordance and e-Sword to deepen our understanding. See who God is in Genesis 1 and pay attention to the word image in the original language.

Who is God in Genesis 1? Is the word LORD in front of God? What is the definition for image? The Bible says that God means, gods in the ordinary sense, of the Supreme God, and angels. The word image means, a shade, a phantom, an illusion, especially an idol. So man by definition alone is an idol. It says so in the Bible. “Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when you awake, you shalt despise your image. Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins. So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.” Second layer, now complete. Let us continue.

In Exodus 20, we are given a specific set of commandments from the Lord God. Let us ponder these verses. “I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.” OK. Was Jesus’ mission to free the captives? “I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.” You may ask yourself, how can I liken Egypt to the earth? “And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” – Revelation 11:8. The whole world spiritually is Egypt and Sodom. If what I am saying is true, and we made ourselves as angels, into the form of a man, bowing ourselves down to our image to serve them, would Exodus 20 tell us this? Why don’t we look deeper at Exodus 20:4. See the words walked all the way back to the roots.

The Lord God told us not to make any idols or any phantom or specifically embodiment species. I am aware of no man since the beginning of time that has had the capability to do this. Are you aware of anyone? No. Why? we all already did. “How art thou fallen (already happened) from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars (princes) of God (EL): I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:  I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.” – Isaiah 14:12-14.

Lucifer creates the world, and what we will call our human host body to trap all of the angels. The confirmation is in Ezekiel 28, “Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the Sardis, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so.” Yep, he covered all of the angels, hid our true identity, gave us flesh to dwell in, and made us all idols. We now can be fruitful, multiply, and replenish the earth. Not as much fun as you thought it would all be, is it? Look at the mess that we all got ourselves into. “Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.”

The Sistine Chapel

This place is truly riddled with so much truth, that it causes you to have a headache, seeing all that there is to see. Remember, “Arise O’ sleeper, wake up from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.” Why is there an angel holding a suit of skin? Because it it true. The simplest answer is always the most logical. And usually, it’s the 100% truth, slapping you right in the face.

Now, we know a good portion of who we all are and what we all did. Let’s get back to Isaiah 53 and go even deeper. “Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.” What does it mean to esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted? Let’s look, together.

As we have learned, we are all angels, we are all the prodigal son’s. At one time, we were all male energy. By coming here and choosing another as our father, we plaited or interpenetrated, and weaved ourselves into something else; by choosing to lie with a woman, by choosing the forbidden fruit. “Neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.” He was smitten, murdered, slayed, and slaughtered by the angels. We took our inheritance, came to the earth, and wasted it on riotous living.

“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” As we consider this, we will now look at the meaning of the word transgressions. We will walk it all the way back to the roots and gain the full understanding of the meaning behind this word.

We all rebelled and revolted, by breaking away from just Authority, the Lord God. That is, to trespass and to apostatize, by spreading the legs. I am not sure if it could be clearer or more obvious than that.

“When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me; Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end. Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors. As a dream when I awake O Lord, when I awake out of my sleep, I surely will despise my image. Thus, my heart is grieved, and I am pricked in my reins. So foolish am I, and ignorant: I am as a beast before thee. FORGIVE ME FATHER.” “Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.”

In a general sense, that is only the beginning of the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner.” We come to the understanding of who we all are and what we all did. We wake up out of our deep sleep, say oh my gosh! It is true. It is all true. We turn back to the Father, ask Him for forgiveness, and then… begin our journey back to Him. Jesus tells us, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Now, you have the truth. Let’s learn the way. And it begins with repentance. Turning back to the beginning. The very beginning. The First Estate, when we were all angels. The answers to everything are in the very words of Jesus Christ. As we consider once again the prodigal son, we will also tie some additional words of the Messiah together for deeper meaning. We are now in the process of building your temple. A place for the Lord God to occupy.

“And when he came to himself (arise o’ sleeper), he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.  And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.”

The prodigal son, or more specifically you and me; we came to ourselves, woke up from our deep sleep, realized that we are blind, deaf, dumb, captives, and prisoners, asked the Father for forgiveness and we went towards the Father, leaving it all behind. “He that forsaketh not all that he hath, cannot be my disciple.” “If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” Whether you are ready to stomach it or not, Jesus meant exactly what He said. Your father, mother, wife, children, and brethren are not what they appear to be either. We are all angels. Every last one of us. We are all equals. We are all the same. There is not one higher or better than the other.

“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.” We have to let go of this world with everything in it. We need to forsake it all, and leave it all behind. What happened to Lot’s wife? We are to deny ourselves through abstinence, letting go of our flesh with it’s lusts, passions, and desires, as we continue our walk back to the Father. If you want to know whether you should stop doing something, there is one very simple answer. What would Jesus do? If He wouldn’t do it, we shouldn’t either.

“And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.” The crucifying of our flesh doesn’t happen all at once, it is something that we continually work on daily. As we let go of something, there is that much more room for the Spirit to occupy our temples. And as we are letting go of self, we begin bearing the very fruits of the Spirit. Are you asking yourselves if you can no longer have sex with your spouse? Jesus said to forsake everything and it is required for our sanctification of the Spirit. “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication.” It doesn’t say to abstain from adultery.

They didn’t live in a world 2000 years ago as we do today. They didn’t have TV’s, movies, media, R rated movies, and worse. They didn’t have pornography popping up every where they turned as we do today. Yet, this was written nearly 2000 years ago. Maybe this might make some sense to you now, “For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.” We are to abstain from sex with our spouse. What would Jesus do? If He came back right now, at this very moment, search deep inside and ask if you would feel ashamed? Knowing, that you are an angel. That your spouse is also an angel. That you both are male energy, and that you both are brothers. Remember, the prodigal son’s.

As we begin our walk back to the Father, He sees us afar off, comes to us, kisses us on the neck and welcomes us back. One of the most profound experiences that we could have spiritually. You are not only His son, you become, His disciple. Now, as we are letting go, we all have a task to perform while we are still here. “Feed my sheep.” “And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves.” As we let go, as we become more like Him, His reflection is seen in us. We have a duty. We have an obligation. “Feed my lambs.”

We need to show others the way, the truth, and the life that we found. Fret not when the whole world will despise and reject you. They did the same to Jesus. Marvel not as if some strange thing happened to you. We are no longer part of this world, we are only in it now. In His reflection, as we are beginning to see the new man, we spend more time with Him and in His Word. The Bible has become alive to us. After you found the treasure buried in the field, the field becomes a green pasture, or a great orchard. So, no matter where we look, and no matter where we turn, we hear the Word. We see the Word. We understand the Word. “And His disciples heard it.” Quite literally. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”

Start your path back to the Father in Jesus Christ. Begin with His words, and in the Gospels. Your temple can only be built off of His words. I pray that the foundation which was laid, the planting, watering, and the pulling of weeds, will be beneficial for your eternal salvation. May the Everlasting Father, the God of Mercy and Peace, shine brightly within your hearts. And finally brethren, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
