God’s Not Dead

An Evangelical Christian and college student, Josh Wheaton, is set to ruffle the feathers of those who attempt to question his faith. Professor Jeffrey Radisson, who is an atheist, forcefully demands that his students sign a declaration that states, “God is dead,” in order to pass his class. Will Josh stand this test of faith? Or, will he buckle under the pressure and jeopardize his academic future?

In this movie, directed by Harold Cronk and starring Shane Harper, by the side of Kevin Sorbo, we see a square off that will stand the test of time, our faith. As a Christian, we are to faithfully endure our trials and not buckle under pressure. As a disciple of Jesus Christ, will you be able to stand in the evil day? Or, will you obey those around you and above you, in order to go along with society?

I rate this movie a 5 out of 5, on the scale of walk by faith and not by sight. Even when the world around you is crumbling, even when you are backed into a corner, at the end of the day, all that we have is who we are. Stand in the Messiah throughout it all.
