Let us all learn how to put on the new man as we put off the old. In Ephesians 4 Paul tells us, “That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” – Ephesians 4:22-24.
“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” – Ephesians 4:1-6.
If this is your first visit to this website, I recommend beginning with The Gospel Of Repentance. Each teaching, lesson, and experience is intended to build up your spiritual house for a habitation for the Spirit of all Life to dwell in. In order to make things anew, we need to better understand what we are letting go of. After we have gained an understanding of who we all are, and what we all did, we can then move forward and follow after the Lord and walk in His ways. “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.” – Ephesians 4:14-15.
“This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.” – Ephesians 4:17-19. Let us now add to this with the following lesson, Sanctification of the Spirit. After exploring these Biblical truths, we are gaining a deeper understanding of how to put off the old man and put on the new man. Now, explore the following video with me and keep Paul’s teaching to the Galatians in mind. “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.”
I pray that the Word of All Truth shall take root in good soil and not amongst the stony ground, or amidst the thorns. Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, putting all of your faith in the LORD God, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Coming next will be a teaching on the Parable of the Sower, where we will dive deep into the layers of understanding within Matthew 13. The parameters are clear and each verse sheds light on our own walk of faith with Jesus Christ. As said before, explore all that this website has to offer. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. I hope that by exploring, you will not only know the Truth, but also the Way, and the Life. And as I began, practice daily letting go of the flesh, letting go of self, and putting off the old man, to put on the new.
