My Brother In Arms

My dear friend and brother in Christ, Jamie Black has just published his own blog. On his Website, Repent Now – Seek The Truth, he will take you wherever the Spirit leads him. I hope that those of you who have found anything useful here, may find the same over there as well. He is also fluent in Spanish, where I am not. Depending on where he is led, there may be some bilingual posts. Not to add to the pressure Jamie. 🙂

He begins on his homepage with explaining the world’s view of repentance and the Gospel view of repentance. Jamie begins in the heading with, “Time To Repent is Now.” And continues with Acts 17, “And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.” As a believer, do we think that we have to repent, or can we just believe in any version of Jesus Christ and be saved? Jamie takes the time to break down the original language and shows us clearly what it means to, “change one’s mind or purpose.”

Within the second page of the website “The Time Of The End,” using 2 Timothy 3, he shows us exactly what we are seeing in the world today. He also goes briefly into the Book of Luke and shows us a way of escape. I would begin earnestly praying to escape all of these things which are about to come to pass. His Website is brand new. And as it is for all new bloggers, there always is a learning curve. My answer, “And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?” – Matthew 21:16.

Follow his blog, consider the Biblical meaning of repentance, and compare it to what your pastors and teachers are telling you. Would it be better to believe the world, or believe the Lord? We are not of the world, even as Jesus is not of the world. “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” – John 15:19. “I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” You may want to consider those two verses for a moment.
