Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me. I have shewed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive. – Acts 20:33-35. I find it truly remarkable that Paul wasn’t just an Apostle. He made it abundantly clear that he also worked full time for a living. As we know that he was a maker of “tents” for the Lord God, we also learn in Acts 18:3 that he was a tentmaker by occupation.

How many Churches, Pastors, and Ministers operate off of donations claiming that they are doing the work of the Lord God? Why don’t we look at the Bible’s actual take on this matter and resolve the issue once and for all. As we plunge deep into the Word of Truth with the KJV Bible and word meanings, we will solidify what we as a body and as a whole should know and understand. May this understanding resonate within you, and may the Spirit give you clarity pertaining to those in whom you put your faith and trust in.
Jesus told us in Matthew 6, “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” We also know in Romans that Paul says, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” We live in a world today where nearly all those “claiming” to be preaching the Gospel are driving fancy cars, living in luxury homes, paying for their kids college tuition, going on vacations, going sky-diving, selling gold or precious metals, and the list goes on and on. At the time of the Apostles, Peter tells us this, “Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.” The very few that were originally sent out by the Savior were only provided for their needs. Not their wants, not for covetousness or for their lusts. They didn’t have fancy iPhone’s, they weren’t browsing Amazon shopping, planning big banquets or social get togethers. They were preaching the Word of God.
Those who were preaching the Bible were ready to die for their beliefs. They weren’t hiding behind TV screens, YouTube Channels, etc., having security guards present, or refusing to go out in public to share the Good News. They were stoned, mocked, spit on, flogged, beaten, slapped, crucified… They weren’t telling you that it is OK to defend yourselves. Jesus didn’t, the Apostles didn’t, the early church didn’t. They fully believed what they were being taught by the Spirit and trusted God more then they feared man. Why do we all today put our trust and faith in people who line up with our beliefs, have certain preaching styles, or look a certain way. Personally, I am disabled. Pertaining to the flesh, I had to lose everything to find the 100% Truth which is Jesus Christ. And that is exactly what is required. “He that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.” Those who are truly coming in the name of the Lord, bring the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of Life, and give freely as it has been given to them.
May this website, the videos, and the Scriptures help you in your path of finding the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as I did. Continue seeking the Lord in all that you do, for he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
