Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: – 1 Thessalonians 4:1-3
“He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to WALK, even as he WALKED.” – 1 John 2:6
Jesus, in multiple places has said this in very similar ways. “ But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him DENY himself (to deny utterly, that is, disown, ABSTAIN: – deny), and take up his cross (that is, SELF DENIAL), and Follow me (to be in the same WAY with. that is, to accompany, specifically as a disciple).” – Matt 16:23-24 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the WAY, the Truth, and the life.” See the below Screenshots for reference.
The KJV Bible program being used is e-Sword. It is 100% free. It takes the Strong’s Concordance and incorporates the original Greek and Hebrew languages so that you can compare them against one another. Then finally… you will be able to understand what the Bible is actually saying.
So why does Jesus, the Word of God, and the Apostles all tell us to abstain from fornication, or more specifically to abstain from sex? Why does 2 Corinthians 4:4-6 say this, “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them?” Who is the god of this world? What does that actually mean? Why did Jesus as well say this in John 8:44-45, “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do… And because I tell you the Truth, ye believe me not?” Now it is time to sit down, collect yourselves, fasten your seatbelts, and understand the profundity of Isaiah 61:1 which states, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.” In which Jesus himself repeats in Luke 4:18, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.”
So… Who is the god of this world, and who are we exactly? Click here on a previous post to KNOW the 100% Truth that the churches, the elites, the pastors, the ministers, etc. don’t know, or are intently keeping hidden from you. “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life,” – John 6:63. May you all be blessed by the Self Existent Eternal Jehovah, even Jesus Christ, my GOD, my King, and my Friend.
